21 Days of Fasting and Praying

"And when you fast.." - Matt. 6:16 NLT

When you read through the Bible, Old Testament and New, you will see that fasting is mentioned over 70 times.
There was a public fast and a private fast.
There was a partial fast, a normal fast, and an absolute fast.
Whatever fast that was practiced, the purpose was to intensely and intimately seek God.
Also, "Christ Himself practiced fasting (see Luke 4:2) and taught that fasting should be a part of Christian devotion and an act of preparation for His return (see Matt. 9:15, note)."
"...fasting refers to the discipline of abstaining from food for a limited time in order to give greater attention to spiritual matters." - Both quotes were taken from Donald Stamps, FireBible NLT, Matt. 6:16 note, pg. 1438.

YOU are invited!

The Church leadership and workers are fasting for 21 Days.
Starting Sunday March 8th - April 28th 2026.
You are invited to join us in the fast.
As we see in the scriptures, there were times when the early church fasted and prayed together (Acts 13:2-3; 14:23).

What is church leadership fasting about?

 1.  A fresh anointing and revival in our lives.
2. A fresh anointing and revival in our homes.
3. A fresh anointing and revival in our church.
4. A fresh revival and awakening in our community, state and nation.
5. That we as believers would be good examples in what we say, how we live, and in our love, faith and purity.
6. For our pastors and leaders in the Church.
7. For divine healing and miracles.
8. For more workers to go out in the harvest fields, foreign and domestic.
9. For the outreaches in our community, specifically the upcoming VBS.
10. For our missionaries and their families.
11. For persecuted Christians.
12. For Israel, the peace of Jerusalem.
13. For our leaders in government.
14. For our schools.
15. For our youth. As the next generation, that they would recognize God's Word as truth and have a hunger for it.
16. For our first responders.
17. For our military.
18. For those in bondage.
19. For the prodigals.
20. For those in poverty, foreign and domestic.
21. For our workplaces.
